Elsa Hosk Fronts Reformation’s Fall 2016 Bridal Collection Lookbook

It has been quite a busy year for Victoria’s Secret Angel Elsa Hosk, who has fronted many fashion campaigns so far, such as those of Victoria’s Secret Swimwear and Free People. Unstoppable indeed, the blonde beauty is now fronting Reformation’s fall 2016 bridal collection lookbook too, wearing eclectic and dreamy bridal dresses.

The Reformation fall 2016 bridal line-up could be regarded as the label’s largest bridal collection created so far, as it takes you from the aisle to the wedding reception and, if the party goes wild, to the dance floor as well. With more and more soon-to-be brides changing their wedding dress right after the ceremony, Reformation is translating this trend to an incredible amount of timeless staples that will at least persuade the bridesmaids (if not the brides) to agree with what to wear during the ceremony.

Aside from the white classics, the collection features a few solid-colored red and yellow pieces too, the modernity of which is however incomparable to that of the newest, iconic off-white two-piece staple. The overall collection’s attitude mixes Reformation’s signature boho-chic vibes with some of this year’s hottest bridal trends, such as cut-outs shaped on the shoulders and plunging slits either on the fronts or sides.

There’s even a Nineties-inspired mini slip-dress that flawlessly subverts all the wedding traditions and already is an absolute must-have. The slip-dress, which comes in a longer version too, is made using safe dyes that are devoid of chemicals, meaning that neither those who worked on the dressed, nor the ones that will actually wear it are going to be exposed to toxic materials. Other proposals include bridesmaid dresses in off-the-shoulder, modern princess-like backless silhouettes with ruches embellishments and imposing goddess-like wrap-dresses that will make any wedding unforgettable for sure. As for the adornments, aside from the ruches and pleats, the collection uses some floral lace embroideries too, the ethereal results of which could be perfectly matched with the bridesmaid dresses decorated with pastel printed floral patterns.

Shot by photographer Olivia Malone, Elsa Hosk seems to perfectly embody the collection’s solemn and jocose spirit, blissfully sporting both the brides and bridesmaid proposals as if we were invited to her own wedding reception. She will likely help the more skeptic ones to ultimately go for a “second wedding dresses for post-nuptial partying” too, which is, surprisingly, extremely affordable too.

With dresses starting at $198 and reaching $588, this Reformation fall 2016 bridal collection not only will let those who have a budget of $500 breathe a sigh of relief, but will allow those who happen to have a bigger budget to actually purchase a second, yet equally unique, wedding dress.
